TinyUmbrella is used to save iOS SHSH Blobs, however this app doesn’t run on iOS platform. However, if you are using any of these – iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPad 2 running the latest available version of iOS for the respective versions, you would still be able to save the SHSH Blobs without much trouble. Since the customized IPSW iOS firmware files will have the SHSH Blobs included, iTunes will recognize them as official and legit firmware and will allow iTunes to flash an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with the modified firmware. Once the SHSH Blob files are acquired, they could be used to create a custom made IPSW firmware file. TinyUmbrella is a third party app and it can override through the Apple system to achieve the SHSH Blobs during the firmware signing period. However, since a latest update of iOS this feature has been pulled off, now the firmware files no longer come with a SHSH Blob file. Apple used to provide signed firmware files by providing SHSH Blob files with them.
